Untie a Knot : Fear

One-sentence summary:

Combining my love for neuroscience and psychology,
I wrote a book to spit in the face of fear.

I wanted the text and illustration to sorta sing a visual duet together.

Throughout the book, I worked to embellish three-dimensional ideas in a two-dimensional space. Books offer certain advantages, in the physical sense, and I thought it might be beautiful to marry cut-outs with overlays and gradients and call-backs:
